I'm a higher education profession, commercial pilot, and flight instructor who became an instructional designer and that combination is rare. I bring real-world subject matter expertise into every learning experience I build, because I know what it means to teach high-stakes skills where performance matters. 

My background as an educator, pilot, and entrepreneur has given me a unique perspective on the importance of adapting to new challenges and embracing change. In my work, I utilize all available resources, including technology and human collaboration, to create innovative learning experiences that meet the needs of adult learners. 

I am passionate about andragogy and believe that effective instruction for adults requires a learner-centered approach that respects their prior knowledge and experience. 

Ultimately, my goal is to design engaging and effective learning experiences that not only impart new knowledge and skills, but also inspire a love of learning and personal growth.
